As far as the packages are concerned, I believe that IPCop has many options
and full freedom to install and remove from the list of various packages
available official or unofficial for IPCops.

But, I found Endian is neat, clean and comes with fully loaded packages that
are very useful and of course works well. I also like their community and
commercial options, meaning you can evaluate the system by installing the
community and if you really like it then you can buy their appliance and get
peace of mind support options.

However, I still wish that community versions should be supported more
actively. I like to see the community version to come with at least the
following two updates immediately:

1) ClamAV upgrade to the current version
2) Update Accelerator add-on http://www.advproxy.net/update-accelerator/

Regards,

Big difference between IPCop and Endian is Greylisting; For this feature
the IPCop community is waiting and waiting ... :-(
Also IPCop has only one main developer, he is a student and leaks on
time for supporting his project.
This two where reason enougth for me to switch from IPCop to Endian and
I am very satisfied with.
