I'm running EFW community release 2.1 and I have slightly modified the
system to allow local delivery and I've installed a pop server. I wanted to
use the great web interface and gateway functionality of the endian project
but run it as a mailserver. My problem is this, I have modified the
/etc/aliases and /etc/spamassassin/local.cf via the shell and webmin (which
I've also installed on this machine so I can edit these files more easily)
but when I reboot the server or hit "save" on any page within the efw
interface that would be modifying these files, all of my shell and webmin
created changes are lost. I'm aware of the aliases.tmpl and
local.cf.tmplfiles but I don't want to have to edit these files every
time I make a
change to the live, aliases or local.cf files. Is there a way to "break" the
over-writing of these files upon (I assume) shutdown?
Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!
