Hi,

We just installed EFW for it's spam and AV features to front-end our
company SMTP server.

It works well, but sometimes e-mails get marked as spam that ought not to
be and end up in the quarantine file.

I'd like to give the users the ability to browse only their quarantined
e-mails and "un-quarantine" them if they were legit.

At first, I just passed-through the e-mails to the users and had them
setup a rule in Outlook to move all arriving e-mails with "SPAM" in the
Subject to their individual "quarantine" folders, but this doesn't work
very well for folks who forward their e-mail to their PDA's, for example.

I'm considering writing a web front-end to the quarantine directory that
would allow users to login and browse their own spam/virus e-mails as well
as add white-list entries dynamically (so I as the admin don't become
bogged down for doing this for everyone in the company on a daily basis.)

So my question is: Is there a way to do this already? (i.e., empower users
to manage their own quarantined e-mails and whitelists on the EFW server.)

Or do I need to write my own web front-end to do this?

Or is there a better way?

Any community wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
Bob
