Hi to all of you,

First off all, let me thank you guys for this nice pice of work :)

Next i got some issues. I think i read the complete archive of the mailing list
;-) but i didn't find the answers, so please help.

I use the EfW 2.1 productive - i want to use it for an Exchange Frontend -
Backend Configuration.

It seems that Exchange has a problem with nat'ing from green to orange. I want
to turn that off.
If i do it manualy with "iptables -t nat -D POSTPORTFW 1" it works, the
interface is just routing not nat'ing.

See:
 Chain POSTPORTFW (1 references)
target prot opt source destination
SNAT tcp -- 10.12.12.0/24 10.12.5.10 tcp dpt:25
to:10.12.12.3

>From the posts in the mailing list i thought i put "iptables -t nat -D
>POSTPORTFW 1" in /etc/init.d/rc.local - but that is not working.
After reboot - Endian is nat'ing again.

Any hints for that - it's okay if there is just routing from green to orange.

Next...
The Exchange seems to ping the Backendserver (really), if he gets no connection
the MTA will not start.
I've got that working with manually editing the /var/efw/dmzholes/config:
tcp,10.12.5.10,10.12.12.16,-,on,orange,green,
udp,10.12.5.10,10.12.12.16,-,on,orange,green,genau
icmp,10.12.5.10,10.12.12.16,-,on,orange,green,

Is there any other way much more classy?

--------

How do i turn ICMP on Red off?

So, thats it for now ;) if someone is interested, I installed Endian 2.1 on
some Desktops of course and on an Primergy RX200S2 and IBM xSeries 336 both
with LSI-Controller Hardware Raid 1
No Problems at all

Cheers
Roman
