Here is another person just wondering if a per user certificate is
possible... Now my roadwarriors all share the one certificate and only
differ in the username/pass combo.

Another question I have concerning openvpn is if it is possible to
change the client config so that they wont have to type the password
everytime. This way the passwords could be a lot stronger (nobody can
remember a 28 char password :-P). Ideal would be if the user/pass could
be saved in a file on a smartcard of usb stick.

Could someone clare things up a bit for me?

Thanks!
Diederik.

Onderwerp: [Efw-user] OpenVPN Regenerate Certificates?

I have a couple of questions about OpenVPN's certificates in Endian
2.1.1.
First, is there a way to generate a new OpenVPN certificate? Lets say
my
existing certificate got into the wrong hands, and I want a new one for
the
OpenVPN server. Is this possible? I would like to change mine every so
often, but I'm not sure how.

Also, just wondering, but will we be able to generate specific
certificates
to specific users/sites in the future? Thats why if one certificate
gets
into the wrong hands, the others are still OK. And also specific
certificates could be banned. I believe thats what is possible with
IPSec,
but I'm more interested in OpenVPN.

Please and Thank you, :-D
