Maybe I can help you with Xen. I did it this way: At first install Vmware or Virtual Box on your Workstation. Mount the EFW iso Image as a CD Drive an istall it (not the Xen Kernel!). When you are finish with this reboot the VM an login as root. Now you have to find a way to move this installation to the Dom0. I simply created the directory /tar and put all the files into an Archive. for example: $tar -cSp --numeric-owner --atime-preserve -f /tar/efw.tar / I took scp to copy this to Dom0. $scp /tar/efw.tar [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~ In the Dom0 you have to extract the EFW to your DomU partition. I use LVM. $mount /dev/vg0/efw /mnt/efw $cd /mnt/efw $tar -xSpv --atime-preserve -f /root/efw.tar Next install the xen kernel. $chroot /mnt/efw $rpm -Uvh kernel-xenU-2.6.9-55.EL.endian19.i386.rpm --nodeps $exit #(leave the chroot) (I get the rpm form here http://downloads.sourceforge.net/efw/EFW-COMMUNITY-2.1.1-devel-RPMS.tar.bz2) To boot the efw as a domU you have to copy the vmlinuz and the initrd. $cp /mnt/efw/boot/initrd-2.6.9-55.EL.endian19-xenU.img /boot $cp /mnt/efw/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.9-55.EL.endian19-xenU /boot The last thing is the DomU config. I have VMware server on one of my machines so I'll use that. Unfortunately work commitments mean I probably won't be able to get to try it until the week-end (maybe early next week). I'll let you know how I get on with that and if I have any problems. I've been playing around with xen for the past couple of week, it seems like I've read the whole internet looking for information.
