Hello,

does anybody have a workaround or solution for the use of a 4-port NIC
(DLink DFE580-TX) with efw 2.12?

The network setup wizard does not display any of the interfaces - thus
the NICs are detected during boot of efw ... therefore I cannot assign
IP-addresses etc.

There seems to be some trouble with the GUI network setup wizard, since
there is not only bug #231 for the DLink NIC, but also bug #110 with a
4-port Adaptec NIC.

In my desperation I also thought about modifying the network
configuration files on the console, but this is certainly not the best
idea and my last chance.

I'm completely stuck :-((

Btw.: how can more than 4 NICs be configured? I must use 5 or 6
interfaces (various DMZs) ...

Cheers
Christoph.
