Wow... Thanks Thomas... I did just as you said and made a backup of
/etc/init.d/clamd and after I installed Mike's rpm's simply copied the
backed up "clamd" to /etc/init.d and all is great.

Thanks so much for the assistance.... Now when downloading the CPU
usage doesn't jump near as high and making changes (save and restart
from the proxy page) are almost instant.
