There's no real interface to the DNS service in ewf. The DHCP service seems
somewhat configurable in the box named "Custom configuration lines." Although I
wouldn't know how to add an option like an tftp server location, without
googling the answer.
The DNS service does seems to provide automatic DNS lookups for its DHCP clients
on the green nic.
I just logged into a customer's efw with the openvpn gui, and ran this ip
scanner: http://www.angryziber.com/ipscan/ and then pinged the names it found.
I can ping any pc in there by name. Works fine. There's only one pc on the LAN
that doesn't use DHCP, and that's their accounting server. So its name isn't
resolvable without adding it to the list of hosts in efw, or adding it to a
client's hosts file.
The DNS server probably has some command line interface, so Im sure it could be
worked with. Can Webmin be added to this distro's OS? It provides at least a
minimal interface to a few DNS services out there.

This was my same problem...except you can't add the IP addresses of hosts that
are being served by DHCP. For some reason endian does not resolve these, even
though IPCop does.
I asked this question several days ago with no answer from the list.
Thanks,
Jae
