If it happens on a regular basis, it's easier to track down.

 

I would start by disabling proxy services to see if one of them is causing the
problem: HTTP proxy, DNS proxy, SMTP, etc

 

I find that the virus scanners aren't stable, and cause problems. So I keep all
of the scanners in the Proxy tab turned off. It's possible that only one of the
scanners was actually causing my problem, but I don't have the time to mess with
it.

guys i have been running my endian firewall for a while now and i am HAPPPY with
it.. problem i having of late is that the pcs on the green connection will not
be able to browse the web for a few minutes ever so often.. like today it
happened twice so far and yesterday it happened once.. 

what can i check to see whats causing the disconnection ..? or is it that there
is some buff that i am not aware of.

I am not using the proxy part of endian as yet..

so help me please..


PS . my netconnection is not the problem.... could it be DNS related ?
