I am trying to install for the first time efw 2.1.2. I am having serious problems. During the install I get no option for entering passwords. The only thing I am asked to enter (not just chose yes/no) is to enter the green ip address. My setup is as follows: EFW 2.1.2, 3 nics, out of the box install I followed instruction from post Sep 07, 2006 by riaanjvr. I get stuck at step 6. Ping returns host unreachable and cannot connect through browser. Am I missing something, is there something else I should be doing, is install working proper?
I REALLY would like to get efw running. As I am a Linux NOOB please be patient with me. Would someone be willing to help?
