OK, forgive me for asking, but...

I have two RED/WAN (DHCP) connections that I want to continue to load-balance.
I know this is on the roadmap, but not there yet.

If I were to use a piece of hardware to load-balance the two connections and
act as "Primary Firewall", can I insert Endian as the first device in the LAN
to filter email and http content (amongst the other cool features it provides)?

I wonder if it would be possible/better to go:

WAN1 -----\
            [Router/FW]-----[ENDIAN]------[LAN]
WAN2 -----/

(In which case, I think I'd use one RED, and one GREEN, but would probably want
to turn NAT off somehow so I don't dual-NAT? Not sure if that's feasable,
actually. Can we act as a bridge so the subnets can be the same on both sides?
Or just set it up normally as a firewall/router, but without NAT?)

OR

Do I want to put ENDIAN in the network somewhere with RED == NONE ? I see that
the developers envisioned this would be possible for some installs, but it's
not clear if that would help me here? Would I then set the ENDIAN box as the
default GW for all my LAN hosts, and the ENDIAN's default GW would be the
actual router? I'm unclear on how that could/would work.

I _wish_ the multiple RED NIC capability was here!!!

Maybe someone knows of some security appliance that is (hopefully) transparent
to an existing network that I can install instead?

Thanks in advance. Sorry for the lengthy post.
