That's a pretty typical configuration.

You can use port forwarding to forward the VPN port to the
efw, or, you could place the efw in a DMZ.

Either way, you have to make a change to the router...

Subject: [Efw-user] vpn and nat on router

Hi everyone...

I have a problem configuring efw... here's the deal. I have
a network
with a server that need to be accessed from the outside
world by only
one specific computer, wherever it is. I would like to set a
VPN between
a network a a single computer. My first problem is that the
network is
behind EFW which is itself behind an ADSL modem router that
is nated
(and i can't do anything to cancel the nat)...

Internet --> <--public IP / Adsl Router /192.168.x.1 -->
<--192.168.x.2
/ EFW / 192.168.y.1> <--Private network
192.168.y.0/255.255.255.0

As i cannot configure/change the modem/router, i cannot see
wether there
is filtering or not. What can I do to make the computer
access the
netwotk from the outside world ? i tried to use dyndns but
failed in
accessing from the outside (might have done something
wrong...)

Regards
