Yeah at least that way all of your mail is satisfying RDNS lookups if it's coming out of the EFW proxy. You must have some interface with whoever is hosting DNS for those domains? It's nice to have mx/a match up with rdns but most mailchecks aren't looking to satisfy both. You could at least get your mail accepted by a good number of hosts until you get the records changed with the DNS hosts.
