I switched to ipsec now, but the problem persists. So it probably has to do with some firewall rules concerning the VPN links.

I tried several settings before with OpenVPN, even deleted and added the link on both sides. I upgraded to efw 2.2rc1 on one side but I haven't had any luck with this issue.

My expectation is that I have to wait until 2.2 final arrives, then reinstall both sides and reconfigure everything from scratch. And I hope, the problem will be gone then, but I am not sure (how could I?)...

Thanks,
Marco

I have had problems like that. And this is one problem I've seen.

If you create a user, (used to make the vpn connection) and then later make a major change, like change the subnet range, it stops working properly.

I had to delete and recreate the user correctly from scratch.

What are your other settings -- is it routed, etc?

I never received any answer if I asked a question regarding openvpn. Am I the only one who uses openvpn?

hi there,
I still have a strange behaviour, that I can't track down to fix it. I run 2 endian 2.2beta2 boxes with the networks 192.168.168.0/24 and 192.168.169.0/24, the efw's are .254 in each subnet. Both machines have a VPN connection to each other. A connection from 169.x to 168.x works: 192.168.169.10 -->-|EFW (.254)|--->- DSL -->---|EFW (.254)|->-- 192.168.168.20 The other way around does not: 192.168.168.20 -->-|EFW (.254)|--->- DSL -->---|EFW (.254)|->-- 192.168.169.10 I tried OpenVPN and IPsec with exactly the same result and I don't know how to track down this problem. Any hint would be appreciated. Thanks,
Marco
