Hi all, I wanted to test the smtp proxy and after setup some fiddeling & start it was working as expected, mail in & out went fine. As this was a test run, I disabled the smtp proxy to receive and send mail directly from my mailserver behind efw.
BUT after disabling the smtp proxy and restart OUTBOUND port 25 from the green to outside is blocked. Even after a reboot. And even outgoing firewall is set to allow port 25. So far I have only worked with the GUI, as I am a Linux Newbie. What did I miss / did wrong or is this a bug ? Should not port 25 be open after disabling the smtp proxy ? The only way to send out mail rightnow is to use a different port to my second mailserver at another location. Any tips and hints very appreciated.
