You decided to replace the MIOL router with the efw? You
never answered my questions before – what brand is the MIOL
router? Is it a simple router, or does it support v-lans,
etc as your other equipment does?

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

Does it means that I have to setup
red interface in eth0 ? not eth1?

I am sorry, but I don't understand by "install endian only
with one eth" ?
Does it mean that I have to unplug the cable?

In My case, what to do to fix the problem?

Again thank you!

Hello yuan,
your IP at your PC 202.137.5. 73, this is not the same
subnet of bri0/eth0, your inside interface.
Install endian only with one eth (your inside eth)
activated, so thats your inisde interface.
After that, install/configure your outside interface.
Thats the way it worked with my setup. I faced the same
problem.
yours,
Alex

Hi

I have tried to install and place endian firewall between
internet and my network.

The result : users can not access internet.

I try to trace route from users PC, it reach the endian box,
but packet never get out of it.

I try to ping DNS IP fom command line (inside endian box),

I got this error :

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~ # ping 202.137.3.111
PING 202.137.3.111 (202.137.3.110) 56(84) bytes of data.
>From 202.137.5.173 icmp_seq=10 Destination Host Unreachable
>From 202.137.5.173 icmp_seq=13 Destination Host Unreachable

202.137.5.173 is red interface.

I think i setup net mask and default gateway for red is
correct.
default gateway 202.137.5.174 (ISP)

Here is result from ifconfig :
