Hello Stéphane, I am using 2.2rc3 too and I am having similar problems. Snort causes my speed to go down drasticly and as soon as I enable it my speed goed down. I havent found any solution to it yet, what I have noticed though is that when snort is active, I see alot of messages in the snort log. Maybe the same happens with you and it causes the firewall to slow down?
