Hello, First of all I would like to apologize to everybody for the lack of news during the last months. I can assure you that we have not forgotten you - on the contrary: right now we are planning a community portal which will give you lots of possibilities to interact with us. However, please understand that we cannot concentrate all our resources on that portal (unlike others we do not have millions of venture capital at our disposal). It will take time until we will be able complete it. Additionally we also plan to move our repository from subversion to bazaar. By doing this we will finally be able to open our source repository for you.
Talking about new versions: We will release a new Endian Firewall Community version in a few weeks. I cannot tell you the exact date yet, but it will be quite soon. This new release will include lots of bugfixes and it will be updateable as well. As you may have noticed it will not be a 2.3 release but the final 2.2 release. Version 2.3 will be released "when it's done". However, I can promise that the interval between the releases of 2.2 and 2.3 will be significantly shorter than the one between 2.2rc3 and 2.2 final.
