Hi,

The first thing you can do is look at the perf graphs given by endian,
or watch on the computer what "top" says regarding CPU consumtion and
memory usage. This will indicate you wether you are good or low on your
memory and CPU. Regarding the amount of users, i would says that you may
be short on mémory and increase it to 1 Gb at least, but it's said
without knowing your users, what they do and how endian reacts with
them... another indication is the bandwidth used compared to the
bandwidth available... i've noticed (with an earlier version of EFW)
that if my computer was too short, then the bandwidth used was really
low compared to the bw available (i can only get 8 or 9 Mbit/s while it
should be 20 Mbit/s)... with a decent computer, i now have the full bw...

But anyway, if you really have 400 users, then buying a "standard" PC (2
or quad core, 2/4 GB) (400 € / 500$) and don't mind anymore about perf
may also be a good point (and shouldn't harm the company budget)
