hi, I would very appreciate to have more control and feedback on the openvpn failover behavior.
I use an UTM Appliance with two uplinks for failover. A Cluple of openvpn clients connects to that appliance. If one uplink fails, openvpn clients switches to the second uplinks ip address and they stick on that slower/expensive uplink until it fails, or one has to terminate/kill that session manually. But there is no easy way to determine what uplink an openvpn client actually uses, except to look at live log and filter for "via", which is not really user friendly. A great improvement would be to show the connected uplink for each client session on the "Connection status and control" page. It would also be much better to monitor the state of the primary uplink and reconnect ASAP automaticly on the client side.
