Hi guys I'm Enrique, from Argentina I've got Endian for learning and installed in an old PC at home I have the following structure at home for testing
http://imgur.com/yp6ru.jpg As you can see, a notebook connects to internet through WIFI, and desktop PC connects through cable. WRT54G2 is connected to DSL modem using the WAN port. It has 192.168.1.5 IP, WPA2 and DHCP enabled (192.168.1.10 -> 192.168.1.100) - I installed Endian, assigned a static IP for the GREEN nic (192.168.1.20) - Then connected the GREEN nic to a normal port in the WRT54G2 and accessed Endian configuration through notebook's browser Now, I'd like to ask please, some basic stuff - I'd like to block msn and facebook (for learning, for testing) but without changing any config (if possible). I mean, I guess I should set a transparent proxy on Endian, but my problem is how I should connect the things and create the rules: - How should I connect the Endian's RED nic (Should I plug RED nic using crosslink cable? or normal one?). Also, which RED type should I set?
