Little history. After changing to Qwest DSL, I find out they do not have a
smarthost to use and block port 25. After spending several phone calls with
them I've given up getting it to work through Qwest. I thought I could use
my googleapps (gmail basically) account to have Google act as a smarthost
using my Google account credentials. Its just daily status emails from a
server and the Endian emails it sends, maybe 5 a day on average.
Long story short, I suspect the cert chain is broken? I'm seeing this in
the logs. Wouldn't this stop it from sending? Google uses a Thawte cert.
Google seems to accept the message but it never shows up in my google mail.
I am on EFW 2.4.1 and I tried this on two seperate EFW installs.
suggestions? I suspect I'll have to file a bug report about it? Doing some
reading it appears that the sasl bits in main.cf is not referencing any
certs? /etc/ssl/certs/ca-bundle.crt has some thawte reference, however I'm
not that strong on sasl stuff so probably in the wrong place.
