As others have mentioned, you should upgrade. By now the clamav and spamassassin and other services are badly out of date. You should check your logs to be sure they are even updating. The SIP proxy has been removed, but it turns out its not needed and it runs better than it used to. If the crashing is a new thing, look at your hardware - check the hard drive(s) SMART data to see if there are any reallocated or pending sectors. And look for bad capacitors on the motherboard and inside the PSU.
