I've tried to compile them directly after 2.4.1 came out, but there were a
lot of packages missing. I don't know if Endian provided them allready.
But my experience is that 2.4.1 really doesn't runs good on VMWare. On my
ESXi I have a 2.4.0 installation which runs really smooth, any attempts in
upgradiung to 2.4.1 ended up in a non working disaster.

All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a
definitive record of customers, application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. Business sense. IT sense. Common sense.
