Creo que el error te lo da porque cuando graba el caracter "\" en la base de datos luego no lo recupera bien, para ello solamente cambia este caracter por "/" o por "\\". A mi me dio el mismo problema
La tabla donde lo puedes cambiar es egw_config o directamente desde la instalacion prueba a ver!
