Exactly. It would perhaps be a good if people used the term "GUI" (or
similar) instead of "client", because this is what they often mean.

Here's one of my favourite posts to the RMI-USERS list awhile ago:

Q: What is a server?
A: A provider of services (1 or more)

Q: What is a client?
A: A lightweight server (0 or more services are provided) using the
services provided by a server

Hence a client can be a server and a server can be a client. All other
restrictions are only in your mind.
