Inprise Application Server (IAS) 4.0

"most application servers have tended to rely on proprietary standards.
Inprise has broken through the proprietary barriers by combining the open,
cross-platform, and cross-language capabilities of CORBA with the
transactional business logic of Enterprise JavaBeans(tm) (EJB) technology.
By leveraging the proven scalability and reliability of VisiBroker,
customers can easily create e-business applications that can handle the high
volumes of transactions that are a function of doing business on the web. "

PS: In my own opinion it is far superior in terms of performance,
scalalbility and compliance to ejb 1.1 to all other vendors offerings but
test drive it and see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Also you
should look at the distributed management features very impressive. good
luck.
