You should note that the jdbc-odbc bridge is single-threaded, and the way that
it does synchronization means that if your connection pool has more than one
connection, you can get deadlock in the driver! (not in the DB, in the driver)
Unless you have a more recent version of the jdbc-odbc bridge available that
fixes these problems, I wouldn't recommend it for production use.
