Concerning the pros and cons of EJB versus CORBA, EJB makes developing complex CORBA-based systems feasible. CORBA specifies a variety of services that, in order to employ, one has to incorporate programmatically. EJB is a componentware framework that reduces the work of incorporating the services of an application infrastructure that may or may not be CORBA-based, to the task of filling out an electronic form. For a good example of how unfeasible it is to build a raw CORBA system, consider the history of IBM's San Fransisco project. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
