There is a very active jBoss community at http://www.jboss.org/ This question is more
appropriate there. I suggest that you join the jboss-users mailing list for this type
of question.

Before mailing that list, take a look at http://www.jboss.org/tomcat.htm

Subject: Jboss and tomcat

Anybody who has tomcat with jboss in the same VM running can you please
explain the following

SERVLETAPI_HOME must point to the source directory "jakarta-servletapi". The
file $SERVLETAPI_HOME/lib/servlet.jar will be required.

do I have to have the cvs tree for tomcat on my machine for this? I just
have the binary only.

Assuming I get this I'll then need Ant and cygwin too right?

Also, when I setup Tomcat I get.

[Tomcat] Testing if Tomcat is present....
[Tomcat] failed
[Tomcat] Tomcat wasn't found. Be sure to have your CLASSPATH correctly set

I've got TOMCAT_HOME pointing to the top level of my tomcat installation.

ie. $TOMCAT_HOME/bin exists

Off to find the jboss mailing lists addresses.
