I don't think Ram mentioned that he was using MessageDriven beans, just that
he was using "messages". Home methods might be one way to do it if he's using
EJB 2.0, but I wonder if he thought about using JMS' persistent subscribers.
It seems to me they fit the bill perfectly: they are persistent and
message-oriented. And do not require EJB 2.0. JMS will take care of all the
work of resending them if the session comes to die.
