Please consider the impression people are about to get about you before
posting instults.

What makes this a stupid question? The need to call 'narrow' before
typecasting will not be obvious to people who haven't done any CORBA
programming, and the question was 'What's going on behind the scenes
here?'. Frankly, I think it's far better to try to learn EJB by posting to
this mail list than to use it to demonstrate one's lack of tact.
