You need to store the handle to the bean in your session so that you may
retrieve that bean itself and not create a new bean.

Subject: need help
Hi,
i have 2 questions for you al
1) I am developing a project which deals with students taking the courses
they wish. So i have a html page which has a select box containing say 4
languages (java.vb,c,c++). First the user chooses java & vb say. Then he
clciks on the submit button and eventually it calls a stateful session bean
and the procedure then follows.
i store this value in a vector(the user's choice).
after some time the user then once agin comes back to this page and chooses
say (c &c++) as his choice and clicks submit button. This invokes a new
session bean. But i do not want this to happen.typically speaking i want to
keep on adding the choices until the user finishes this session.
any idea to deal with this sort of application.
2) any idea how to connect sql server with weblogic 5.1.0 . I am using
jdk1.2.2 and winnt.
