I find it a bit odd that it tells you it's trying to connect with the
weblogic driver when you're telling it to use the Oracle one. Maybe you
should use something other than t3ping...

Also, taking this to the Weblogic lists might get you a better chance of a
good answer...

Cheers

Subject: FW: WEBLOGIC JDBC DRIVER

Hi,
I also faced this problem when I used to work.I found that it does not
take
it when we give it in classpath variable.
Though I am not sure (I have stopped working on ejb since Feb.) but one
of
the files setenv.cmd or startweblogic.cmd contains weblogic-classpath
variable. try to give the path in that variable.

I think this will work

Subject: WEBLOGIC JDBC DRIVER

Guys,

I am using Weblogic 5.1 and Oracle 8.0 and thin driver. I have set path
to
classes12.zip in the webserver.

Now, to test the JDBC connectivity between my weblogic server and the
sql
maching, I run the t3dbping command from the command prompt. Though, I
set
the classpath perfectly, it says the following when I execute the
command.

COMMAND :
java utils.t3dbping t3://localhost:7001 analyst realestate
oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
jdbc:oracle:thin:@192.168.10.20:1521:capt

RESULT :
Connecting to WebLogic with the WebLogic JDBC Driver
Can't connect with the WebLogic JDBC driver:
No suitable driver

Could someone help me out here. Thnx in advance.

Srinivas.
