IMHO you could also use the same home- and remote-interface for different
EJB's too.

But this makes only sense if you have something like the following
situation:
EJB A: (AHome.class, ARemote.class, AEJB.class)
Does something.

EJB B (AHome.class, ARemote.class, BEJB.class extends AEJB.class):
Does something, with the same interface as A, only some methods are
overridden,
e.g. storage is the same, only a buisness - method produces different
output.

Then you could deploy those two EJB's.

They are still two different EJB's on the app-server, there is only
inheritance in the java-classes,
but not in the EJB-Components.

You have to specify all used ressources in the deployment - descriptors of
EJB B as usual,
also if they're only used in the code-part of AEJB.class.
