We are currently evaluating technologies for our forthcoming development
projects (internet applications with >50 concurrent users on the rdbms).
EJB seem to be a nice alternative but at the moment it seems as if plain
CORBA
supplies are more robust platform. Especially the application server
market is
highly dynamic and to make a decision for a vendor seems impossible.
Is there anywhere a source for success stories where complex commercial
mission-critical systems were built with EJB?
Can you recommend an application server that
- supports EJB
- scales
- has an affordable licensing policy
Overall, can you recommend relying on EJB at this point in time?
