Please note that the opinion I gave you is entirely personal. And I did not
mean to say that RMI solves all
your problems. I just tried to point out some of the potential problems that
may arise when choosing
one distributed infrastructure rather than another (or even switching the
infrastructure at a later stage).
In fact most of the projects we do are CORBA based.
