Dear Colleagues, The Interoperability Clearinghouse Working Group (ICWG), is holding several industry meetings in the upcoming weeks, hosted by OMG and AFCEA. Those interested in engaging this joint government/ industry initiative should may attend one of the planned ICWG meetings; 1) March 22, OMG Technical Committee Meeting, Wyndham Hotel, Philadelphia (215-448-2000). Open session for all OMG participants :12:00-1:00pm includes lunch and overview briefing. Meeting continues 1:00-4:00pm for working discussions. Evening Session for prospective IC sponsor 5:00-7:00pm Cocktail hour follows. Please register at the OMG registration desk. 2) March 23, 08:00am-12noon. AFCEA Gaithersburg Breakfast Meeting, Hampton Inn, off Rt. 118. Cost $20. Payable to AFCEA. Please RSVP. Limited seating. 3) On-site Brief. If your organization has an large IT shop who would be interested in this effort, the principles would will be glad to set up an on-site brief at your convenience. The primary goal of the Interoperability Clearinghouse will be establish an internet based knowledge repository of IT standards, "validated & interoperable COTS product suites" and associated implementation services. Integration, testing and implementation successes will help validate vendor claims, and enable IT users to configure and validate enterprise information solutions.
