I've been developing a generic server framework called XS (eXtensible
Server). With it you can create services (such as EJB) which can be
combined into a server. All of it has been built upon the JavaBeans API
(including the BeanContext API) and is an ideal environment to create
custom servers or perform rapid prototyping.

I have now released v0.1 of this package (available from my homepage,
see sig below). Included is an EJB service with support for all bean
types and CMP through simple files (examples are included). Support for
JDBC and XML-file CMP is planned.

The server is free for all usage, unless you want to use it as a VAR.
Please contact me in that case.
