Ejipt 1.1, an all Java embeddable EJB app server, is now available.

This latest release comes with a new distributed 2-phase commit JTA1.0
compliant transaction engine. It also includes new samples illustrating
embedded, standalone and fail-safe usage modes. Samples for multi-server
distributed operation and in-proc server instantiation in a servlet engine
are also provided.

Ejipt 1.1, based on the Java 2 platform and supporting both session and
entity beans (with BMP or CMP), can now be concurrently used with both
JDK1.1 and Java 2 clients.

Ejipt 1.1 allows you to:
    - deploy your beans locally on your laptop (the Ejipt jar is < 300kb)
    - handle thousands of concurrent clients from multi-processor servers
(Ejipt employs a highly scalable server architecture with fully configurable
resource management services)
    - instantiate the EJB server directly in your code (helps debugging your
beans)
    - embed the app server in your product (puts you in full control of your
product's execution environment)
    - deploy your beans in a conventional standalone or fail-safe app server
mode.

Ejipt 1.1, designed to take full advantage of the advances in the Java 2
platform, is now available for Linux, Solaris and Windows.

Looking for reliable messaging? Ejipt 2.0, due out late June, will add
seamless JMS support.
