Whether OODB store or otherwise, the EB's query the datastore
(explicitly in BMP, implicitly in CMP).

How the clients "query" the beans depends. You have a couple of
high level mechanisms here:

- Entity Bean finder methods, which can be whatever you want them
to be, OR

- You could coarse grained "services" into your SB which represent
queries. The coarse grained facade turns around and queries EB's (via
finders) or a datastore directly.
