Well, I don't know about "easy", but we have done this sort of thing using
VisualEdge (i.e. wrapping COM objects from CORBA and visa versa ).

However, it becomes a challenge if your COM objects are running in the
context of MTS. How to integratet the transaction models? You'd need to have
a JTA resource for MTS...
