I can confirm this - In our evaluation of WebSphere 2.0, Advanced Edition, we
discovered that the security portion of the EJB 1.0 spec was not implemented.

Hope this helps,
Matt

Is it true that webSphere doesn't support declarative security attributes
like runAs and runMode? In other words, it appears that you can not set the
security attributes on a bean in WebSphere. Please confirm or deny.

Thanks,

Richard
