I run on a AMD K-350 with 128MB for a single developer at home.  For 2-5
developers, I would say 256MB of memory.  It isn't the processor that is
the problem, it is memory.  At work we run a 300MHz Sparc with 256MB of
memory.  This machine is running two instances of 8i (test & model office)
for two server developers and one client developer.  So it also depends how
many instances of the database you are running
