Is it considered ok to deploy more than one bean of a given type.
For example if I have a session bean called ProcessRequest, and I have a
ProcessRequestHome interface, and a ProcessRequest (remote) interface.
I would like the option to deploy 2 of these under different jdni names.
I could create 2 deployment descriptors, with different bean names, and
register both of them in the server.
Then have certain clients use certain named versions these beans.
So I guess there are really 2 questions here, is this allowed in the
spec, and do the app servers allow this?
