There has been some discussion on EJB-INTEREST of using MQSeries with EJB so I
offer the following vendor information with the usual apologies to those who did
not wish to know.
<vendor>
IBM's MQSeries development group has begun a beta test of "MQSeries classes for
Java Message Service". This provides facilities for MQSeries programmers to
write Java Message Service (JMS) programs that use MQSeries as the underlying
transport mechanism.
The features of this beta program are:
- Implements the JMS Version 1.0.1.
- Supports point-to-point messaging style.
- Maps JMS message header fields and properties
to MQSeries message data.
- Optionally uses the JNDI to locate JMS objects.
