Subject: Weblogic custom security realm
We have an Weblogic/EJB application for which we have implemented a custom
security realm. But we are having intermittent problems, and I was wondering
if anyone is doing a similar thing and/or having similar problems.
Basically, the JDBC call to get to the aclentries and permissions tables
seem to leave a thread open until timeout and then when the thread timesout,
open a new thread.
Also, sometimes the server starts up with no problems but occassionally, the
server seems to start up fine but will not allow any access thru the
security validation. The server must be restarted to establish a valid
security realm.
Details of our environment:
server is IBM AIX 4.3.2
WebLogic version 3.1.8
JDK version 1.1.6 a116-19990422
DB Driver is IBM DB2 Connect
Database is DB2 5.0
Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks,
Barbara
