The restrictions don't mention anything about calling Runtime.exec() and I wanted to verify this was allowable. Also, Section 18.1.2 in the EJB 1.1 spec says the following: "The enterprise bean must not attempt to define a class in a package." Maybe I'm being dense, but I'm not clear as to what they're saying here.
