As far as I can see the spec. doesn't state Who is responsible for writing
finder method query statements when using CMP.

It does state (as is obvious) that you cannot tell what exactly a finder
method will do merely by looking at its signature - you need the query
statement as well.  Given this it seems that responsibility for these
statements lies at the door of the bean provider.

However, since Deployment Descriptors provide no place to store this
information the bean deployer is consistently the one to enter this
information.

To me this seems like a kludge since to properly deploy the bean you need
the provider to send along some notes on what he/she intends to happen when
the finder method is called.

Am I missing something somewhere??
